A 4- hour experiential workshop

Repair does not happen through good intentions alone. It happens when we are willing to slow down, tell the truth, listen deeply, and take meaningful responsibility for our impact.

This 4-hour workshop focuses on the final three steps of the six-step Art of REPAIR process: Acknowledge, Impact, and Restore Integrity (AIR). These steps guide participants through the heart of a repair conversation, where accountability, understanding, and trust are either rebuilt or lost.

This workshop is designed for those who want to move beyond avoidance, defensiveness, or surface-level apologies and learn how to stay present through the most tender and consequential parts of repair.

* Please note this workshop is the 2nd workshop in a series. The first workshop is The Art of REPAIR: First steps to REPAIR on April 25th. You do not need to attend the first workshop, however, it is strongly encouraged. https://www.ambrosia.events/dr-hazel-grace-yates/events/art-of-repair-the-first-steps-to-repair

What this workshop is about

  • Have you ever tried to repair something and made it worse?

  • Do conversations about harm quickly turn into explanations, justifications, or shutdown?

  • Do you long for real resolution, not just “moving on”?

The AIR portion of The Art of REPAIR offers a clear, compassionate structure for navigating what comes after rupture. It teaches how to build shared reality, name impact honestly, and choose restorative actions that actually rebuild trust rather than perform repair.

This work weaves somatics, trauma awareness, neuroscience, and attachment theory to support conversations that are grounded, humane, and relationally responsible.

In this workshop, you will learn how to:

  • Acknowledge without defensiveness or blame
Practice distinguishing between objective facts, differing memories, and interpretations, and learn how to acknowledge another person’s experience even when realities do not fully match.

  • Name and receive impact
Explore how to articulate emotional, somatic, and relational impact, and how to listen in ways that help others feel genuinely heard and understood.

  • Restore integrity after harm
Learn multiple pathways for rebuilding trust, including remorse, restorative actions, revising agreements, rewriting stories, and practicing redos, with an emphasis on discernment, pacing, and sincerity.

Rather than rushing to resolution, this workshop emphasizes slowing down, staying regulated, and choosing repair actions that feel meaningful rather than performative.

How we’ll work

This workshop is experiential and skills-based, with structured practice using lower-intensity scenarios to support learning and integration. Participants are guided step by step so they can build confidence before applying these skills to higher-stakes relationships.

The focus is on presence, accountability, and care, not perfection.

This workshop is for you if you:

  • Want to feel more confident navigating repair after harm

  • Struggle with defensiveness, shutdown, or over-explaining

  • Want to rebuild trust rather than avoid difficult conversations

  • Are already familiar with the basics of conflict work and want to go deeper

  • Are in romantic, familial, professional, or community relationships

This workshop can be taken on its own, and pairs especially well with the Foundations workshop (Resourcing, Empathy, Permission).

What participants are saying:

Past participants share that The Art of REPAIR gave them a clear, usable framework for moments that once felt overwhelming. They describe walking away with practical tools they could immediately apply in family, work, and intimate relationships. Many note that their confidence grew, their communication softened, and they discovered that conflict could actually create more intimacy instead of distance.

“This is by far one of the best classes I have ever taken in my whole life. I’ve studied for decades and earned multiple degrees, and I can say nothing has impacted the way I relate to others as much as this work.” – Amina

“Before learning this method I was terrified of conflict. I would keep things in and let resentment grow. Now I no longer run from conflict, and I feel equipped to face conversations I used to avoid.”

“I’ve used these tools with my family, my clients, and even my tribal community. They have helped us move through deep ruptures and find greater cohesion. This work is not only practical, it is powerful and healing for entire communities.” – Sherika Tenaya

Participants often leave with:

  • Greater clarity about how repair actually works

  • Practical tools for acknowledging harm and impact

  • Increased confidence staying present in charged conversations

  • A deeper capacity to move toward resolution with care

Participants often report that these steps fundamentally change how they approach accountability, apology, and trust in all areas of life.

Expect laughter, insight, meaningful connection, and a few moments where you realize, “Oh… this is what I’ve been missing.”

Come as you are. Leave with tools you can actually use when things get messy. Because they will. And now you will know what to do.

Beyond Small Talk: Speed Relating
Facilitated by Somatic Sex Educators: Dr. Hazel-Grace Yates and Matia Divitt

This is for people who value presence, curiosity, and meaningful connection over polite small talk.

Spring has a way of waking things up. Curiosity. Attraction. The simple joy of meeting new people.

For this evening, we’re creating a space for chemistry, play, tenderness, and genuine spark in all its forms.

Through playful, guided connection exercises and thoughtful (and occasionally outlandish) questions, you’ll skip the surface-level talk and step into real conversation, playful movement, flirtation, laughter, and presence.

The focus of the night is meaningful connection. Romantic sparks and depthful friendships are equally welcome here. Sometimes connection begins with attraction. Sometimes with laughter. Sometimes with the simple relief of feeling seen.

You might meet a future lover, a new friend, a creative collaborator, or simply leave with a fuller heart and a renewed sense of human connection. This playshop is open to those seeking connection of any kind. Romantic, platonic, playful, or just deliciously human.

Your facilitators, Dr. Hazel-Grace Yates and Matia Divitt, are Somatic Sex Educators and Relationship Coaches with decades of combined facilitation experience.

Together they bring a facilitation chemistry that is playful, sweet, warmly inviting, and just flirty enough to help the room relax, open, and connect.

All ages (21+), gender expressions, and sexual orientations are warmly welcomed.

Come a little nervous.
Come a little curious.
Leave a little more alive.

✨ About Dance Meets Tantra:

Dance Meets Tantra is a transformational body of work exploring the confluence of conscious dance, relational intimacy, ritual and ceremony, and kink and shadow work. We are dedicated to empowering communities to relate with greater authenticity, aliveness, and care, embracing both light and dark while cultivating a group field that is profoundly greater than the sum of its parts.

Since 2021, we have been offering cutting-edge and trauma-informed workshops, retreats, facilitator trainings, and festivals around the world.

Perhaps you’ve been feeling the call, for dance spaces to evolve, to become more attuned and inclusive of a wider spectrum of expression; and for tantra to be more embodied, playful, and alive. You may sense, instinctively, that something extraordinary happens when embodied movers gather with the safety, permission, and presence to be fully alive and deeply connected.

This is Dance Meets Tantra.

✨ A Note on Tantra:

For us, Tantra is the practice and art of being fully alive. There is nothing sexual in nature in the activities we share. Sometimes sexual energy arises, and it is only permitted within the context of consent, agreements, and the container that is set.

Our intention with Dance Meets Tantra is to support individuals in deepening their love, respect, and relationship with themselves, others, and the earth. We believe that dance, eros, and Tantra are fundamental aspects of living a vibrant, empowered, and creative life. Through various explorations, we aim to liberate creativity and life force, inviting you to step into your fullest expression.

We hold deep honor and respect for classical Tantra and the lineages from which it originates. While classical Tantra profoundly influences our work, we do not present ourselves as representatives of classical Tantra.

For more details on sexual energy and our approach, please visit our FAQ.

What participants are saying:

People come into The Art of REPAIR feeling anxious about conflict, disconnected in their relationships, or unsure how to communicate without causing more harm. They leave with a clear, embodied framework that helps them slow down, regulate their nervous system, create shared reality, and move through hard conversations with confidence and compassion. Again and again, participants describe this work as life-changing, relationship-saving, and the missing piece they’ve been searching for.

“This is by far one of the best classes I have ever taken in my whole life. I’ve studied for decades and earned multiple degrees, and I can say nothing has impacted the way I relate to others as much as this work.” – Amina

“What I got out of the course was a really simple, clear framework that made a huge difference… Since taking the course, I’ve noticed I’m able to connect with my family in a deeper, clearer way and my communication with clients has improved too! It’s honestly been a real game changer for me.”

“Before learning this method I was terrified of conflict. I would keep things in and let resentment grow. Now I no longer run from conflict, and I feel equipped to face conversations I used to avoid.”

“I have had two super big conflicts come up in which I was able to put these tools directly into practice… It helped me feel so much more centered, confident and resourced… Having this tool to help ease these conflicts and help my people find greater cohesion… is so powerful it brings me to tears just writing this. This stuff works!”

“Before the course, my go-to response to conflict was to shut down… Now that the course is complete, I feel that I have the knowledge and process to face conflict in ways that I never knew were possible. I feel that anyone who struggles with navigating conflict should take this course. It is truly a game changer.”

“I’ve used these tools with my family, my clients, and even my tribal community. They have helped us move through deep ruptures and find greater cohesion. This work is not only practical, it is powerful and healing for entire communities.” – Sherika Tenaya

Come solo, with a partner, with friends, or your polycule. You will leave with immediately usable skills that strengthen every relationship in your life.

Meaningful relationships will inevitably experience challenges. The health of our relationship is reflective of our ability to repair and learn from these ruptures.

In response, Hazel-Grace has developed a powerful REPAIR process for you to learn the skills that turn ruptures into deeper connection. Rather than being bad news, difficult moments can be powerful opportunities. With the right skills, they become doorways to deeper connection.

Generative Conflict - The ability to move through conflicts in such a way that creates MORE trust and connection.

Generative conflict can lead us to feel more intimately connected by understanding more about ourselves and each other. Rather than hoping our relationships will always be easy, we can learn the skills that bring us closer to the ones we love.

Through the REPAIR process generative conflict is accessible.
